Oil Filters

You have several options for oil filters on the D24T.

One is the Fram 977A, which is readily available.

Another, the WIX 51333, also readily available

Another is the Mann W 950/4, which you will have to order. Other part numbers for the Mann are 1328162 or 074 115 561
The Mann is also used for the Eurovan '92-'96

The NAPA part number is 1773 for the FRAM equivalent

Plan ahead and use the Mann

I found your post on the volvo brickboard forums. I was starting to think I was the only one crazy enough to own a diesel 740 Volvo! I purchased my Volvo with the intent to convert her to run on waste vegetable oil. Unfortunately the transmission went out and I'm now in the process of switching out the ZF with a AW tranny. Having all sorts of issues finding the right parts and more importantly the right information.

Your blog is great and I found it very useful. I had intended to create a blog in order to document my veggie conversion but due to the transmission going out I never got around to it. Your blog has inspired me to get off my duff and go ahead and just do it! When I get it up and running I'll forward you a link.

thanks
